A settlement for the family of their 92 year-old relative who died as a result of neglect in an assisted living facility. The decedent died as a result of a decubitus ulcer. The facility was not qualified to care for the decedent based on his limitations. The insurance company settled the case at mediation after the lawsuit was filed but before the parties conducted discovery.
