A pedestrian who tripped on an uneven sidewalk while jogging. The plaintiff broke her wrist and elbow and was required to have 3 surgeries. The insurance company initially denied the plaintiff’s case but after filing suit, the firm learned that an employee of the defendant was at the site where the plaintiff fell just months prior and therefore should have known about the condition of the sidewalk.
