Motorcyclist Dies in DUI Crash on W Hundred Rd [Chesterfield, VA]

Motorcyclist dies in DUI crash on W Hundred Rd after a head-on collision tragically ended the life of 29-year-old Christopher D. Harding, Jr., on Thursday, June 19. The fatal crash occurred just after 3:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of West Hundred Road in Chesterfield County, Virginia.

According to reports from the Chesterfield County Police Department, a Dodge Caliber traveling eastbound crossed the center line and struck Harding’s motorcycle head-on. Emergency responders rushed Harding to a nearby hospital with critical injuries. Sadly, on Friday, June 20, authorities confirmed that Harding had succumbed to those injuries.

The driver of the Dodge, 56-year-old Bradford G. Jordan, was arrested at the scene and charged with driving under the influence. Police indicated that additional charges may follow as the investigation continues. Jordan remains in custody at the Chesterfield County Jail.
