Client was t-boned by a work truck while the plaintiff was stopped at a red light. The plaintiff sustained a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) and multiple orthopedic injuries. The plaintiff’s medical bills were approximately $80,000 and his lost wages were approximately $40,000.

The defense argued at trial that the plaintiff did not sustain a mTBI in the accident and that he had recovered from his orthopedic injuries. The jury did not accept the defendant’s expert witnesses and returned a verdict that was $4 million over the last offer before trial.
